They talked about how Uganda’s fashion could be embraced at the 2017 ASFAs SEED Uganda has always been coming up with Campaign every year to work on and this year’s campaign is to “Embrace Home Fashion” with a purpose of making every Ugandan appreciate Fashion from Uganda, this campaign was launched at Bayimba International Festival – Kampala, Uganda then Kampala Fashion Week and finally it’s to be introduced at the 2017 ASFA’s. The team agreed to use the #EmbraceHomeFashion on every SEED post to create awareness of the campaign to every Ugandan. This year for the first time ever Ugandan designers will design all the celebrities at ASFA’s red carpet live show. Ras Kasozi the CEO of Seed Uganda explained more about what people should expect at this year’s ASFA’s, ” This year’s ASFA’s is going to be bigger whereby every celebrity design will look far better than what they wore on last year’s ASFA’s, it’s the time to prove the world that in Uganda we have got talent. All the designers are to come up with original concept to fit the international standards, though respecting the celebrities’ individual identities. We believe this will be good for Ugandan Fashion. Let’s do all it takes to see the Ugandan flag high.
