Baby Doll Dress in African Print By Muyomba Julius

1 min read

A doll is often a child’s favorite companion, providing a source of comfort and entertainment unlike any other toys. Dolls can also play an important role in a child’s development, teaching compassion and social skills, as well as helping to shape a child’s self-image.

African designs are often left out since most of the dolls in the toy stores are not dressed in African fabrics. Muyomba Julius an upcoming designer in Uganda has made it happen here in Uganda by coming up with dolls dressed in African designs; every doll is to go for 80,000 Uganda Shillings. Muyomba said that he is fit for the changes in our generation beyond fashion and that he spends time with his babies (dolls) whenever he is free from work. He shared photos of some of his work on his Facebook page saying

“Done project and now ready to delivery to all interested customers, bring fun home for your daughters with these special dolls in african prints they come with same print clothes for your daughter too DOLLS @80,000/= “
